I think I want to go back to sleeping under the bed. It's easier. Well, easier than blogging dog stuff. I remember a time when all I had to do was lie on my back and someone, anyone would rub swirly circles on my tummy.
Now I have to think like a computer geek - a human one at that.
My mum started a business. Well she started a few businesses, but let's not go into them right now. She started a site in my honor, TeddysTogs. Teddy's Togs (ahem..after moi, Teddy) are designer dog duds that little dog owners can make and sew themselves with little effort.
My mom originally had them made and sold in stores but they cost too much to make here in good ole North Amer-eee-ca (something about chinese people coming cheaper..or there's just way more of em or something). Anyway, people saw my snazzy outfits and said they like making their own, so lo-and-behold, TeddysTogs was born (er..reborn as it was).
She put her noggin together and slowly figured out a way she could get my patterns online. Not only that, but in a way that doggy mums and dads all over the planet could get them without bothering my mum! That's the amazing part - mum sleeps, I sleep under the bed and when we wake up -- ta da! Doggies all over the world are having Teddy's Togs made for them by their owners. Sometimes I think my mum is too special...
That's not all...my mum realized that doggy mums and dads don't like spending much moo-lah on their dogs outfits..something about us having enough fur'n all. So she put that noggin together yet again and decided to charge very little for my tog patterns. Something about "..rather selling alot of em cheap than a few for lotsa pesos".
Mum wasn't satisfied with delivering my inexpensive trendy togs while she and I slept. You see, doggy mums and dads came to Teddys Togs and saw all the cute little outfits. But somehow, it wasn't enough for mom. She wanted everyone and their dog to know about me and my togs.
She did it though. You'd have to know my mum. She's like a pitbull...once she gets a hold of something, she doesn't let go... She let people in newspapers and magazines and even television hosts know that Teddy's Togs is open for business.
Now Teddy's Togs and moi, have appeared in newspaper columns, features and even a doggy style magazine! Yup..that's my mum. As I mentioned..you'd have to know her.
She does love me though. More than anything. She even made me a little zen bed like hers..raised off the ground so buggy wuggies don't crawl on me when I'm sleeping. I love my mum and, yeah, I love my togs too.
More than anything I like all the fuss and love I get when I wear my mum's togs when we go out.
